5th	Bardia falls to Allies 25,000 prisoners and 6 generals captured.
7th	Tobruk falls to the Allies.
10th.	Germans order all Jews ordered to register in the Netherlands. Malta heavily bombed by Italians and German Air Forces.
11th.	155 German planes bomb Portsmouth with 140 tons of high explosive and over 40,000 incendiary bombs.
13th	London and Plymouth bombed again.
16th	Incendiaries and high explosives dropped on Bristol in a severe raid.
17th.	Incendiaries and high explosives dropped on Swansea. in a severe raid.
23rd.	Malta heavily bombarded again 100,000 Italian prisoners taken so far in North African Campaign.
25th	Badly damaged aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious leaves Valetta for repairs at Alexandria.
27th.	All civil servants and state officials ordered to swear oath of allegiance to Marshall Petain in France.

FEBRUARY 1941.	The war is costing the UK £11 million per day.
7th	British and Commonwealth troops capture Benghazi.

12th	Rommel arrives in Tripoli to lead the German Afrika Korps
14th	German heavy Cruiser Admiral Hipper ends a fourteen day cruise in which it sunk 64 allied vessels.
15th	Austria deports 1000 Jews a month to Poland. Australian troops arrive in Singapore.
22nd	Daily bread ration in Warsaw ghetto is set at 3 0z (85 grams) per day. Over 400 people dying each week from starvation.
23rd	SS troops arrest 400 Jews in Amsterdam after a German officer is accidentally hurt in a Jewish owned bar.
	Australian soldiers reinforce Singapore Garrison.
24th	Five British Merchant ships torpedoed in N. Atlantic.
.	HMS Terror after valuable aid to army in N. Africa sinks after 3 days of air attacks in Mediterranean.
	HMS Dainty sunk off Tobruk.
25th	Churchill loved hats! Nazis clamp down on a wave of demonstrations and strikes in Holland protesting at the persecution of the Jews.
27th	Marshall law is declared in Amsterdam as 389 Jews arrested last week are deported to Buchenwald camp.
	Australia sends troops to Greece.
28th.	2,289 people have been killed and 3,080 injured in air raids on England in the last two months.
	Russian women seeking their loved ones.
March 1941.
6th	Convoys in high seas Churchill says the "Battle of the Atlantic has begun"
8th	More blitz on London. Cafe de Paris nightspot bombed.
9th	Portsmouth heavily bombed.
13th	Hitler orders Goering and Rosenberg to exploit the Soviet economy to serve Germany.
15th	Bomb falls on Buckingham Palace. Rommel's Afrika Corps attack British and Commonwealth Troops.
19th	Massive German air raid by 479 bombers leave 750 people dead.
22nd	German battle cruisers Scharnhorst and Gneisenau end a 20 day cruise in which they sunk 22 ships.
	British government agrees to let US grain ships deliver emergency cargo to Vichy France.
	Hess crash lands in Britain

April 1941	Victims in Concentration camps
3rd	British troops evacuate Benghazi in the face of Rommel's advance. Hitler orders raids on British historic towns as revenge for bombing of Lubeck.
10th	British and Australian troops besieged at Tobruk.
13th	Germans take Bardia.
16th	Churchill Inspects Bomb Damage. 500 bombers drop 100,000 bombs in one night on London.
8th	272 RAF bombers raid Hamburg.
17th	Gestapo reports increase in anti-Nazi graffiti in Dortmund and other Rheinland industrial areas.
20th	US carrier Wasp delivers 46 Spitfires to Malta, of which 30 are immediately destroyed by Luftwaffe.
	Laval broadcasts to French people that Russia must not be allowed to win war and calls for closer co-operation with Germany.
21st	Germans shoot 20 French hostages for complicity in the Resistance.
26th	Hitler made supreme judge of Reich and given powers to act independently of the law.
27th	RAF bombs Rostok for the fourth night, 70% of city destroyed and 100,000 are homeless.
27th	Churchill Broadcasts A Difficult Time 'Westward, Look, the Land is Bright'
	1000 Jews deported to their deaths at Belzec and Sobibor from Theresienstadt in Czechoslovakia.
30th	4,432 Jews have died of starvation and typhoid in the Warsaw ghetto.
	Renewed bombing in London kills 938, and 998 injured.
