SEPTEMBER 1943
2nd	A Jewish gentleman in Berlin in 1940 - forced by the Nazi's - like all Jews were - to wear a symbol denoting that he was a Jew. Shortly after this picture was taken, every Jew was rounded up and sent in cattle trucks to the concentration camps.
5th	German doctors used healthy Jewish prisoners as human guinea pigs. The medical records of these experiments (with photographs of the victims) still exist. What was done to these people is too horrific to ever properly comprehend. The scale of the persecution of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, leftists, Slavs and the mentally disabled, boggles the mind: freight trains carrying Jews to human stockyards from across Nazi-occupied Europe; victims worked to death, shot or gassed; corpses incinerated or processed into soap; gold teeth harvested for the coffers of the Reich. Items made from human skins - especially those with tattoos were prized by Dachau guards. Such acts of unspeakable cruelty reveal the depths of depravity that the human race can sink to when the good people of any country fail to
	Allies invade Italy.
8th	Red Army re-takes Stalino. Italy surrenders unconditionally to the Allies. The US Navy in battle in the Pacific.
9th	Allies land at Salerno.
10th	German Troops take over Rome.Germans rescue Mussolini.
20th	Allies attack Naples.
26th	Red Army enters Kiev. Russians recapture Smolensk.
30th	Allies take Naples.
OCTOBER 1943	Yamaoto - one of the Japanese War Lords responsible for Pearl Harbour.
1st	U boats again in the Atlantic and sink several ships.
31st	Monte Casino destroyed in fearsome Allied air and ground attacks.
NOVEMBER 1943
9th	Churchill inform Parliament that 60 U boats have been destroyed in the last three months and 700 since the war began.
	Himmler (left) says "the elimination of the Jewish people is to be a glorious but unwritten page in German history" "we had the moral right . . . . "
DECEMBER 1943
4th	Churchill and Roosevelt meet in Cairo.
10th	Roosevelt visits Malta to pay tribute to their courage.
	The Big Three meet in Teheran. Stalin, Roosevelt, and Churchill.
	Winter sets in as Russians as they recapture Kiev.
	Marshall Petain imprisoned on Hitler's orders.
	Auschwitz -Birkenau. 5400 Dutch, Belgium, and French Jews gassed.
	9,000 strikers down tools in UK Arms factory.

It is important to remember that heavy censorship of news took place throughout them, and therefore knowledge of many of these events was not available until long after they happened - or until after the wars had ended.
