Tyranny is our foe,
whatever trappings or disguise it wears,
whatever language it speaks,
be it external or internal,
we must forever be on our guard,
ever mobilised, ever vigilant,
always ready to spring at its throat.

Winston Churchill

Harvard University
September 6th 1943.

Libraries & Bibliography

These pages are under construction

We urgently need a Librarian to develope this important department.

The Internet presents the society with the extraordinary - indeed fantastic - opportunity to store the entire text of every single book by Churchill and about Churchill and the events during his dark century. Textual reference will be possible at the touch of a button and capable of being be downloaded and printed out at home by anyone, anywhere in the world.
Just one room with a computer and a qualified (retired?) librarian. Care will have to be taken to set it up properly from the outset.
The computer equipment must be capable of meeting more and more demands as time goes on.
A proper access and downloading pricing policy will have to be worked out which will cover all costs.
But before any of this is discussed; the question has to be asked: Should the Society do this?
I believe it should. I believe it should seek Lottery Funds to enable it to be done.
The purpose being to raise historical and literary educational standards
